Evidence suggests that financial exploitation is the most common form of elder abuse. Unfortunately, evidence also suggests that incidents of financial exploitation are on the rise. With millions of older adults being victimized each year, many health care professionals are asking how they can help stop the financial exploitation of older adults in their care. This CEU will provide health care professionals with insight on how they can prevent, recognize, record and report the financial exploitation of older adults.
